Peter Grant, MP for Glenrothes and Central Fife met with volunteers for The Wemyss Improvement Group – TWIG – to see and speak to them about the work they carry out in the local area. The group showed Mr Grant around East Wemyss and the projects they’d taken part in to improve the village for the community.
Mr Grant also presented the group with a signed copy of a parliamentary motion he has lodged to recognise their achievements.
Commenting, Peter Grant MP said: “Community groups like TWIG are important assets to our communities and help to keep them looking good with lots of flower beds, as well as other environmental projects. Their hard work and dedication is hard to miss, so a big thanks is due to them for everything they do.”
